Memorial Day Weekend is upon us. Make your plans for the Darren Brothers Band playing Friday night and the Corbitt Brothers band playing Saturday night. Pack a tent and come on out $6.00 fee pays for you to stay one night and listen to the band. We have plenty of open camping, no reservation needed. This should be a very fun, exciting weekend. What We Do

We love to float  the river ourselves, so I can tell you how the river is flowing and what to expect on your trip.

Piney has swimming holes well over your head, then around the bend will be rapids just deep enough to float. It changes with every flood, season or depth of water. Floating the river is interesting and I believe fun to discover the new, challenging bends and rapids. There is an abundance of wildlife to be seen on the river banks and in its waters. Camping is at our campground along the picturesque Piney.

For canoeing or kayaking it is advisable for you to call ahead to make a reservation.

We will take you up river to start your trip at anytime that you show 9:00am until 3:00pm. You don't have to wait until a schedulded time. You end your float at the campground which is where you come to start the float. Most everyone spends at least 3 hours, I usually will take my time and spend about 6 hours floating downstream. Be prepared for some wildlife sightings and some beautiful scenery. Please do not bring glass bottles when you come visit...We also do not allow aggressive dogs.

ALERT: Do not follow GPS or directions from yahoo or google. They will put you driving 5 extra miles down a very bad dirt road. Take

 I-40 to exit 163. turn (left from Nashville) south on 48hwy go 6.3 miles, then turn right onto Cash Hollow Road. We are only a mile down on Cash Hollow Road, it is blacktop. 

Pinewood Canoe & Camp LLC is on the picturesque Piney River located in small Pinewood community nestled in the Hickman County countryside.

Come canoe, kayak, swim, fish, camp, hike or just play on its beautiful gravel bars. Always something to do to have fun.

  Piney River is even prettier than ever. The water in the swimming hole is very deep. Ther birds are singing and the squirrels are running around. Call me any time for an appointment to float or camp.

  The campground is along the beautiful Piney River with georgous bluffs across and a wonderful cool swimming hole. We have a large gravel bar area, so there is plenty of room for everyone.
